It starts with the door. A solid wood or steel entry door can take a high-security cylinder. A hollow or older door may need a reinforcement plate first. Patio doors, storefront doors and fire exits each need their own hardware.
We look at the door, the frame and how you use it, then recommend hardware from Schlage, Yale, Weiser, Kwikset, Baldwin, Mul-T-Lock, Medeco or Abloy.
